DNT Optics has built a following among UK shooters by putting genuinely useful features — laser rangefinder, ballistic calculator, onboard recording — into optics that cost a good deal less than the established names. Buying pre-owned sharpens that value further.
The range splits three ways, and it's worth knowing which you're looking at. The ZULUS HD and ZULUS 4K are digital day and night vision scopes built around Sony STARVIS sensors — true-image optics you can run in daylight as well as after dark. The ThermNight series is multispectral, combining thermal and night vision in one unit. The HYDRA thermal scopes are multi-function: they work as a standalone scope, a clip-on ahead of a day scope, or can be used as a handheld monocular, depending on how you set them up.
Every unit is function-tested before listing — sensor and display condition, rangefinder accuracy, ballistic and recording functions, IR illuminator output on the digital units, focus and dioptre, and battery performance and charging. Condition is described plainly, cosmetic marks included, and the photographs show the actual optic you'll receive.
Because the HYDRA and ThermNight units can be configured several ways, each listing states which mounts, adapters and accessories are included — that's what determines whether you can use it the way you intend straight out of the box.
