Thermal binoculars earn their keep on long scanning sessions. Two eyepieces mean far less fatigue than a monocular over a few hours, and the depth perception makes judging range and ground easier — which is why they've become the choice for stalkers covering large areas and anyone spending real time behind the glass.
Most units at this level carry a laser rangefinder, and we test that alongside sensor and display condition, calibration, focus, dioptre adjustment, recording functions and battery performance before anything is listed.
